Spotlight is a local or national act which will kick off the open mic with a 10-15 minute set. Feature is a local or national act performing 30-minute set immediately after the open mic. Qualification Slam is our standard 2-round slam for QP toward next year's Semi-Finals. Max of 12 poets. 9 or more slammers will result in cutting to 6 poets for the 2nd round. Winner earns 3QP, 2QP for 2nd, 1QP for 3rd. Cash prizes are also awarded. Hosting team members do not earn cash for placing in slams, but they do win QP. For a listing of current standings, click HERE. Scrimmage replaces Feature and Slam. All home scrimmages will include a "house" team made up of members of the audience who would like to slam. Winning team members earn 3QP. 2nd place members earn 2QP, and 3rd place team members earn 1QP. All Slams and Scrimmages follow PSi Rules, except theme slams and as noted.
