Adam Rubinstein

Adam Rubinstein's been performing poetry in the the Boston area for over 5 years. A fourth-year student at Hampshire College, he's busy studying the intersection of performance poetry and book-arts. In December, 2003, he released his first full-length self-published book, Inhaling the Train Wreck on his own Destructible Heart Press. He has featured all around the Northeast, notably at the Cantab Lounge and Lizard Lounge in Cambridge, and various colleges across Massachusetts. His poetry has been described by legendary Latino poet Martín Espada as "vivid, surreal, explosive, fiercely intelligent." Individual Poetry Slam Champion Roger Bonair-Agard has described him as "a real talent," full of "wild imagination and fearless lyricism." He loves good beer.
