Delrica Andrews

Delrica Andrews is a third year member of the Executive Council for Poetry Slam, Inc. (PSI), where she serves as Treasurer. She has been the DC/Baltimore SlamMaster since 2004 (running both DC Slam Poetry Series in Washington, DC and SLAMicide Poetry Series in Baltimore, MD). She has had an on again/off again love affair with poetry since 10th grade and has been deeply involved in the DC Metro Area and Baltimore, MD area spoken word scenes since 1999. In that time, she has published a chapbook (titled "This Chapbook Was Made From Pilfered Office Products"), costarred in a theatre production, is the founder and webmaster of 4luvofpoetry.com (a website devoted to providing its users with access to venue information throughout the US and some areas outside of the US as well as serving as a database for poets needing an internet presence - free of charge). And somehow on top of all of this, she keeps a day job in accounting as well. She also does a whole rack of other things, but for the most part...she's a poetry junkie. Say hi, you'll love her!
