David Lankford

Many things have been said of Dave Lankford. He is the All-American boy next door. He looks like Vince Vaughn. His feet are just the right size (take that as you will). However he is described, all will agree, he is a poet. A member of both the 2000 and 2001 Washington, DC poetry slam teams, Dave returns as a veteran to the National Poetry Slam Championships. He has featured solo across the country - he recently returned from a sold out performance at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe is NYC and a tour through his home state of Texas - and can often be found teaching poetry to high school students in the greater DC area.
