Dwayne B

Dwayne B. is a breakdancing, poplocking, lyric loving, freestyling, poetry writing, pumpking pie eating, Washington, DC native. Developing an early relationship with poetry and spoken word, Dwayne has been writing since high school. Currently, Dwayne is a youth advisor for Metro Teen Aids, a non-profit organization in Washington, DC that caters to education and outreach for the community's young adults in the fight against HIV and AIDS. Dwayne is also the host of "Flowetic Fridays" at Freestyle (Metro Teen Aids) the 2nd and last Friday of every month. Dwayne has featured at Urban Energy and Spit Dat! at Java Head Cafe in Washington, DC and has read at poetry readings throughout the Washington, DC area as well as Baltimore.

Dwayne is also 1/4 of the Senryu Sweatshop, a group inspired from 365 Haiku. To find out more about this and all things Dwayne, come on out and close the year out with us! See you there!!
