Emil Brikha is a Swedish Assyrian, born in Iran, raised in Stockholm, Sweden. After ten years of writing and performing poetry and music in Sweden, and after having done tv, radio, 3 cd´s, music videos, and a festival tour, Emil is touring from the west coast to the east coast including shows in LA, OC, Chicago and NYC, bringing to the US his own take of spoken word and music, filtered through his Swedish Assyrian roots. His cd, Spoken words & Unheard thoughts, consists of 20 tracks in a fusion of rap, spoken word poetry and good old story telling. Emil Brikha also manages his own huge website with a massive total of 30 of his own MP3s for free download, a music video, as well as videos from shows and much more.
