Jamie Kilstein

Jamie Kilstein is one of New York City's newest slam poets. He has given up on the "Frat boy-Dick hat-wearing-Bridal party-Sleazy club owner-Drunken heckler-Shock value opener-Hack feature act-Failed actor-Mold an artist for a sitcom-Pander pander pander-Black people are different than white people-Fart joke-Men are different than women-Our President can only be talked about if he makes a funny word mispronunciation-Git 'er done" shit horrid world of stand-up comedy. He has opened for Lewis Black, Doug Stanhope, Marc Maron, Jim Norton, Dave Attell, and Patton Oswald. Jamie has been featured on MNN/PBS Deliberately Incorrect 102.7 WNEW NEW YORK, The Bob and Dudley show Austin Texas, The Boston Comedy Festival and The New York Underground Comedy Festival. He has also preformed at some of the top comedy clubs around this great land of America (sorry I have to say that were at war) including Carolines on Broadway, The Luna Lounge Nyc, The Cutting Room NYC, The Comic Strip NYC, Standup NY, The Improv (NYC, BALTIMORE) The Icehouse in Pasadena, Nicks Comedy Stop Boston Mass, Mohegan Sun Casino CT, and Cap City Comedy Club (formerly The laff stop) Austin, TX Four months into his venture with slam poetry he is in all three NYC slam teams Semi-Finals, or Finals, including The Bowery Poetry Clubs URBANA team, BAR 13s LOUDER ARTS team, and The Nuyorican Poets Cafs team.
