Karen Finneyfrock
Karen Finneyfrock was a member of the 1999 DC Poetry Slam Team that competed
at NPS in Chicago. That's all it took. She moved to Seattle in 2000 where
she became the Slammaster of the Seattle Poetry Slam, performed in countless
readings and festivals including BumberShoot, the West Coast Poetry Festival
and the Seattle Poetry Festival. She attended the Summer Writing Program at
the Naropa Institute, toured with C.R. Avery in the hip hop opera Shot Gun
Wedding and has published one book of poetry called Welcome to the Butterfly
House with en theos press.
SLAMicide is Baltimore's ONLY PSI certified poetry slam venue and the official track to the National Poetry Slam.
